Compatible with the all Brose Specialized 2014-2022 drive systems.
This Peartune tuning kit removes the 16mph (25km/h) speed limit, allowing the motor to help you at higher speeds. With the speed limit removed, 28-37mph (~45-60km/h) can be expected, depending on the bicycle and gearing.
Real speed will be displayed up to 14-15mph (22-25km/h), at higher speeds the bike will show incorrect, slower than real speeds.
Will PearTune Brose BR2 work with my eBike?
This Peartune tuning kit is made to work with Brose Specialized Gen 1 1.2 / 1.2e / 1.3 / 1.3e mid-drive motors with the TCU, MasterMind or Mission Control displays.
If you have Brose Specialized SL 1.1 2020-2021 motor, you will need this tuning kit.
Assembly
We have prepared detailed instructions, which you will receive together with the Tuning kit to make installation easy for you. You just need to remove the cover from the motor and attach the connectors. You will need a basic toolkit, some bikes may require a crank puller. Disassembly of our tuning chip is just as easy.
If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.
If You are planning to install PearTune on brand-new eBike, make sure you ride it for at least 0.6miles (1km) before the Tuning Kit is activated.
